Sheffield-based cell imaging technology specialist, Phasefocus, has appointed Tracey Zimmermann into the role of VP Global Sales.

Joining from GE Healthcare where she had been responsible for sales and marketing of cell analysis technologies, Ms. Zimmermann will be driving the company’s international expansion plans – with a particular focus on the US market – and building a global sales capability.

Ms. Zimmermann brings with her considerable experience in both cell technologies and working with entrepreneurial ventures – she previously worked for Cellomics (prior to its acquisition by Thermo Fisher Scientific) where she had been instrumental in bringing high content screening to Europe.
