CEO

Mary draws on over 20 years’ experience in international executive search within a broad range of industries.

Having joined Intramezzo in 2009, she has since worked extensively across the technology sectors, including software, ICT, medtech, healthtech, life sciences, consumer electronics, digital and advanced materials.

Managing both permanent and interim assignments for C-suite and senior executives, Mary also heads up the Research Department, devising bespoke search strategies and ensuring that high standards are maintained and projects are delivered within agreed timescales.

All her work is underpinned by a passion to provide the best possible service to the client, sourcing the exceptional leadership expertise which will drive strategic and commercial value.

When relaxing, Mary enjoys throwing some leisurely shapes while practising Qigong. Her outdoor pursuits include sustainable gardening, walking and sea swimming in the summer months.

Dermot Hill

Dermot Hill

Non-Executive Director

Dermot specialises in delivering critical search assignments for tech and equity-backed businesses, often with an international or global remit.

With a focus on key client objectives and strategies, he has a track record in making senior, board level appointments that create significant commercial impact and drive shareholder value.

His own background includes extensive experience in launching, building and transitioning entrepreneurial organisations, and this has given Dermot a rare depth of insight into the unique challenges faced by high growth businesses.

Working with both corporate and early-stage entrepreneurs alike, he is dedicated to forging long-standing client relationships – and is passionate about partnering with exciting companies to make ‘hard to find’, high-performance appointments.

Dermot holds a certificate in Company Direction (IoD) and a post-graduate Diploma in Marketing (CIM). He is also a frequent contributor to the national and international conference circuit.

Outside the fast-paced environment of Intramezzo, Dermot can be found casting a fly onto Hampshire’s rivers or practicing Bikram Yoga. His love of adventure often dominates his ‘downtime’ –with holidays often involving skiing or long distance walking – and when indoors, he is an occasional player of the bagpipes.

Luke Minshall

Luke Minshall

Head of Leadership Assessment & Development

Luke leads the succession practice at Intramezzo, providing critical executive leadership solutions for business scale ups often with an international remit.  His objective is to enable clients to achieve seamless leadership transition during rapid growth or transformation.

He has a track record of enabling executive leadership performance to successfully drive shareholder value maximizing internal and where necessary, external talent.  His focus is always to align solutions directly with client strategic goals, strategy and culture.

Luke draws on 20 years’ experience of developing leadership with some of the top global brands as well as with equity backed tech start up businesses often where new rules are being invented.  He has the confidence and skill to apply a blend of best practice selection and development tools across multiple cultures and geographies to create solid platforms for business innovation and creativity.

He holds a Masters degree in Occupational Psychology from Nottingham University, a Degree in Psychology from Anglia Ruskin University as well as level A and B psychometric certificates.  He has a keen interest in digital learning for senior leaders and provides guest speaking and delivery of change workshops for clients.

In his spare time, Luke enjoys working on the family garden with his wife and can often be found running at local park run events in Kent, mountain biking in Switzerland.  He also appreciates playing the occasional game of chess with his grown up sons.
